Cooperation agreement signed by TF, the Hungarian Judo Federation and IJF

Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), the Hungarian Judo Federation and the International Judo Federation Academy signed a long-term agreement that could even determine the development of judo in the future.

Cooperation between the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) and the International Judo Federation (IJF) already dates back to 2019, which resulted in the visit of several important players of the international judo scene to TF in the summer of 2022.

The meeting was the first stage of a joint pilot project between the International Judo Federation (IJF) Academy and TF, which aimed to showcase the TF’s extensive experience in sports science to improve the performance of judo players.

The agreement signed by the representatives of TF, the Hungarian Judo Federation (HJF) and IJF on Thursday 24 October aims to develop procedures for the implementation of the Academy’s Undergraduate Certificate as Judo Instructor (UCJI) education programme for students enrolled in the Judo Bachelor of Science in Coaching Programme (BSc) offered by the university.
